M.A. No.39/2025/EZ was registered by this Tribunal suo motu as no affidavit of compliance was filed by respondent no.4- Collector and District Magistrate, Puri but subsequently Execution Application No.01/2026/EZ has been filed by the applicant.

In view thereof, further separate proceedings are not required

to be taken on M.A. No.39/2025/EZ which is disposed of accordingly.

The Collector and District Magistrate, Puri had filed M.A. No.27/2026/EZ seeking six months’ time from the date of receipt of allocation of funds from the Commissioner of Endowments, Odisha which was allowed vide order dated 19.05.2026.

Since M.A. No. 27/2026/EZ had been allowed as mentioned above the same is not required to be listed any further.

The Registry is directed to make appropriate entries in the record regarding disposal thereof.

In the compliance affidavit dated 30.01.2026, the Collector and District Magistrate, Puri has submitted that amount of Rs.79,82,000/- is required for execution of the restoration work and communications were addressed to the Commissioner of Endowments, Odisha requesting immediate placement of funds required for execution of the project.

In the course of hearing, Mr. Satya Narayan Sarangi, the Commissioner of Endowments, Orisha has appeared through V.C. and submitted that no funds have been allocated to the Commissioner of

Endowments, Odisha for further allocation to the Collector and District Magistrate, Puri and he has been assigned various quasi-judicial and administrative functions only.

The Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha is directed to look into the matter and issue appropriate instructions and ensure that requisite funds are allocated to the Collector and District Magistrate, Puri and appropriate report is filed before this Tribunal in this regard at least one day before the next date of hearing fixed.

In case of non-compliance the Chief Secretary, Government of Odisha shall appear before this Tribunal through V.C. to explain the circumstances for such non-compliance.
