This application has been moved by the applicant for passing necessary directions and actions by the responsible authorities to take remedial measures for maintaining the environment.

In response to the I.A., reply has been filed and it is submitted that the District Magistrate, South 24 Parganas, has taken appropriate and proper action according to rules.

No further grievance survives, thus, learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the manner of disposal may be done in accordance with law and for that purpose the District Administration has engaged the expert body for taking necessary action in accordance with the expert report.

Accordingly, the respondent District Administration is directed to take necessary action for disposal of the waste within thirty days.

Matter stands disposed of. However, applicant is at liberty to file an application afresh, in case any grievance survives, action shall be taken by the District Administration.
