By this appeal filed under Section 16 read with section 18(1) of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010, Appellant has challenged the order dated 22.1.2026 issued by the PPCB imposing the environmental compensation of Rs. 65,59,875/-.

Issue Notice in the Appeal and IA No. 185/2026 which is an application for stay to the respondents for filing their response/reply by way of affidavit before the Tribunal at least one week before the next date of hearing through e-filing. If any respondent directly files the reply without routing it through his advocate, then the said respondent will remain virtually present to assist the Tribunal.

The Appellant is directed to serve the respondents and file affidavit of service atleast one week before the next date of hearing.

IA No. 186/2026 has been filed by the Appellant seeking exemption from filing the typed copies of dim and illegible annexures. On due consideration, the IA is allowed subject to condition that the Appellant will

place on record the legible copies of the documents on which he wants to rely upon at the time of arguments.

It has been pointed out that the similar Appeal No. 12/2026 for the environmental compensation concerning previous period is already pending.
