This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioners’ life and properties comprised in survey Nos.111/1B1, measuring to an extent of 0.17.50 Ares, Survey No.111/1B2, measuring to an extent of 0.05.0 Ares, Survey No.111/2, measuring to an extent of 0.19.0 Ares and Survey No.111/3B, measuring to an extent of 0.09.5 Ares, situated at Vailamur Village, Villupuram Taluk and District, based on the complaint of the 2nd petitioner dated 07.05.2025 and complaint dated 08.11.2025 forthwith

The petitioners and respondents 3 to 5 are brothers and sisters. There is a property dispute pending between them in OS.No.363 of 2015 on the file of the Principal District Munsif Court, Villupuram and OS.No.41 of 2023 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Vikravandi.

Both the suits are for partition, injunction and also for declaration. One of the said suits has been filed on the strength of the Will executed in favour

of the petitioners.

In view of the above discussion, the prayer in this writ petition seeking police protection to the petitioners’ life and properties cannot be granted. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the civil court for appropriate relief. There shall be no order as to costs.
