The Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction, directing the 4^th respondent to de-freeze the petitioner’s Savings Bank Account bearing No.449602010208401 maintained with the 4^th respondent bank.

2.The petitioner is having a Savings Bank Account bearing No.449602010208401 with the Union Bank of India, Bhoomikuppam Branch, Tirupattur District, the 4^th respondent herein. Upon the instructions of the 5^th respondent, the 4^th respondent has frozen the petitioner’s Savings Account and it did not permit the petitioner to operate his account.

3.Learned counsel for the 4^th respondent submits that even as per the

request of the 5^th respondent, the amount which was allegedly transferred into the account of the petitioner is only Rs.2,100/-. However, on instructions, the

learned counsel submits that the petitioner can be permitted to operate his Saving Account for the remaining amount.

4.In view of the above, the 4^th respondent is hereby directed to de-freeze the Savings Bank Account of the petitioner forthwith and permit the petitioner to operate his Savings Bank Account bearing No.449602010208401 maintained with them, on condition to withhold a sum of Rs.2,100/- in his account.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected WPMP Crl.No.370 of 2026 is closed.
