The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 3, to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his labourers

while putting up construction of compound wall to his property comprised in Survey No.127, measuring to an extent of 13.41 cents, situated at No.99, Maduravoyal Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Tiruvallur District.

2.The petitioner owned a property to the extent of 13.41 cents, situated at No.99, Maduravoyal Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Tiruvallur District. In order to put up a compound wall in and around his property, he engaged civil workers. While so, one Venkatesan, obstructed the entire construction and also demanded huge money as a bribe. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the 3^rd respondent and sought for adequate police protection to his life and his labourers while putting up compound wall. The petitioner also produced photographs, and it reveals that 75% of the construction of compound wall has already been completed and only 25% of the construction is pending.

3.In view of the above, the 3^rd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, upon issuing notice to the counterpart called Venkatesan, and pass orders to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his labourers while putting up construction of compound wall in and around his property comprised in Survey No.127, measuring to an extent of 13.41 cents, situated at No.99, Maduravoyal Village, Maduravoyal Taluk, Tiruvallur District, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No
