Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider my online application vide CAN No.133070322429665 bearing online application No.2025/015318/005766 dated 16.09.2025 for subdivision and to issue a separate patta to my land, situated at vanniarpalayam, cuddalore in ward no.6, block no.38, T.S.No.1303 measuring to an extent of 15869 Sq.feet and in T.S.No.1341 measuring to an extent of 3121 Square feet, totaling 18990 square feet within a stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2 nd respondent to consider the petitioner’s online application dated 16.09.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had filed an application for sub-division and issuance of separate patta, in favour of the petitioner. Further, he would submit that the petitioner is ready and willing to obtain consent from all the other legal heirs for subdivision and produce the same before the respondent in the form of affidavit.

3. In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that if the consent is obtained from all the other legal heirs, the same will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed as expeditiously as possible.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the petitioner to file the consent of the other legal heirs for the purpose of sub-division and produce the same before the

respondents. In such case, the 2 nd respondent shall consider the online application filed by the petitioner dated 16.09.2025 and after issuing notice and affording an opportunity of personal hearing, to all the concerned parties,

dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
