2. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on

behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, a representation was filed by the petitioner before the respondents 1 to 4, for demarcation of the subject property and to include the petitioner's name in the patta, pertaining to the said property and also for making necessary corrections in the revenue records relating to the said property. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that a representation can be filed only for the purpose of rectification of revenue records. As far as the other requests, viz., survey, demarcation, including petitioner's name in patta, are concerned, the petitioner is supposed to have filed an online application for the same. Hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record.

In the case on hand, a representation was filed by the petitioner before the respondents 1 to 4, with 3 requests, viz., (i) for survey and demarcation of the subject property; (ii) to include the petitioner's name in the patta, pertaining to the said property; and (iii) for rectification of revenue records in respect of the said property. However, according to the respondent, the petitioner is supposed to have filed an online application for demarcation and for including the petitioner's name in the patta.

8. In view of the above, this Court directs the petitioner to file an online application for demarcation of the subject property and for including his name in the patta, pertaining to the said property. In such case, the respondent shall consider the same and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, dispose

of the said application, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of the petitioner's application.

As far as the request made by the petitioner for rectification of revenue records is concerned, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

10. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
