Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioners representations dated 17.06.2026 and 22.06.2026 and thereby conduct a proper survey and subdivision in respect of the property measuring an extent of 45 cents comprised in old survey no.244/2, new survey no.244/2B, situated at elambalur revenue village, perambalur taluk and perambalur district and to remove the erroneous inclusion of the names of MR.Chinnasamy and MR.Mariappan from patta no.4623 dated 21.06.2026 and to issue a separate patta in favour of the legal heirs of the purchasers namely MR.Raji and MR.Chinnapillai within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 17.06.2026 & 22.06.2026.

Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioners filed the representations dated 17.06.2026 & 22.06.2026 before the respondents, requesting for sub-division and correction of revenue records, pertaining to the subject property. However, the said representations were not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

In reply, the learned counsel for the official respondent would submit that the petitioners’ representations will be disposed of within a period of 4 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2^nd respondent to consider the representations filed by the petitioners dated 17.06.2026 & 22.06.2026 and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
