Madras High Court (M. Dhandapani, J.), 16.03.2026 — W.P.No.26620 of 2025, N.Santhikumari v. The Under Secretary, Union of India, Ministry of Finance and others: The petitioner, aggrieved by the order dated 21.04.2025 made in Complaint Number N 202425023755936 of the third respondent (The Chief General Manager, The RBI Ombudsman), had filed a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash that order and to direct the 6th and 7th respondents to deposit the Ex-Orbitant interest, Penal interest and compound interest in her account. Before any adjudication, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to approach the civil Court and made an endorsement to that effect.
