This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 13.01.2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 13.01.2026 before the second respondent to cancel the Patta vide No.1914 standing exclusively in the name of the 5^th respondent and consequently issue a joint Patta in favour of all the legal heirs of Late.Sengottaian in respect of the lands comprised in survey Nos.182/1A, 182/1B, 182/1C, 182/1D, 182/1E, 182/1F,182/1G, 187/3A and 187/3B, meausring a total of 7 Acres and 25 cents situated at Nedungulam village, Edappadi Taluk, Salem District. However, the said representation was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.

Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government’s Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioner’s representation dated 13.01.2026 will be considered within a period of six weeks.

Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2026, after issuing due notice to the petitioner as well as fifth respondent and other aggrieved persons, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
