PRAYER – This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to survey the land in Survey Nos.66/1A2 and 66/1A3 at Mathigiri village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, identify, demarcate, subdivide the boundaries of the land and subsequently issue separate patta by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 16.02.2026.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to

survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on his online application, dated 11.03.2026, with the assistance of the 6 th respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on 11.03.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered by the official respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on

behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 & 5 and Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 4 and 6.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the 5 th respondent

is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner’s property

morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit to put on notice, within a time frame to be fixed by this

Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:-

(a) Before surveying the lands in question, the 5^th respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the 5 th respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(c) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the 5 th respondent, the 6 th respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.

(d) There shall be no order as to costs.
