ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in Spl.S.C.No. 162 of 2021, on the file of the 3^rd Additional District Judge (PCR Act Cases), Madurai, seeking to quash the charge sheet wherein the petitioners are charged with the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(1) and 109 of IPC and Sections 3(2)(va), 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), of SC/ST(PoA) Amendment Act, 2015.

Pending trial, the parties have entered into a compromise wherein the defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

Today, the defacto complainant is present in-person and he acknowledges the fact that he had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

In view of the above said facts, this Court is inclined to pass the following orders:-

a) The charge sheet in Spl.S.C.No.162 of 2021, on the file of the 3^rd Additional District Judge (PCR Act Cases), Madurai, stands quashed as against the petitioners herein; and

b) The second respondent/Sakthivel is directed to redeposit a sum of Rs.45,000/-(Rupees Forty Five Thousand only) before the District Collector, Madurai District, on or before 21.08.2026.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The joint
