The prayer in this Criminal Original Petition is to quash the first information report in Cr.No.19 of 2026, on the file of the respondent.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the investigation is already complete and that a charge sheet has also been filed, on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kodumudi and that has been taken on file as C.C.No.86 of 2026.

In view thereof, keeping it open for the petitioner to take all pleas during the trial or against the final report filed as the case may be, if he chooses to, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
