Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1^st and 2^nd respondents herein to delete the name in the patta of the father of the 3^rd to 7^th respondents herein and grandfather of the 9^th to 11^th respondents herein and issue the patta to the Petitioner's grandfather namely Vellaiya Naicker, S/o.Perumal Naicker with regard to property in Survey No.2208/1B to an extent of 87 cents sitauted at Palayam Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District based on his representations 22.11.2024 and 20.01.2025.

The petitioner has filed the instant writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to delete the name of the father of the respondents 4 to 7 and grand father of the respondents 9 to 11.

The petitioner claims that in respect of the rights of the said Perumal Naicker, Suit in O.S.No.382 of 2004 was filed and ended in favour of the petitioner's father. An appeal preferred by the said Perumal Naicker in A.S.No.46 of 2010 was also dismissed on 13.07.2011 and the said decree has become final. It is thereafter, the petitioner has noticed that patta was issued in favour of his grand father, Vellaiya Naicker along with the name of the said Perumal Naicker in Patta No.2891. In order to remove the name of the said Perumal Naicker, the petitioner has preferred the writ petition.

Considering the limited scope of relief, it would suffice to direct the 2^nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 22.11.2024 and 20.01.2025 and dispose of the same on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
