The petitioner has filed the instant writ petition seeking

the relief of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to either grant patta for his house site comprised in survey number 245/12 measuring 0.00.88 square metres or to provide an alternative house in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2020.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the authorities have already considered the representation of the petitioner and are willing to provide an alternative house at Anjugramam, which is coming within the purview of the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, the newly impleaded respondent.
