Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take effective steps to implement the Right to Public Services Act in Tamil Nadu State so as to the people getting time bound delivery of services for various public services rendered bythe Government and to punish the errant public servant who is deficient in providing the service stipulated under the statute and to reduce corruption among the government officials and to increase transparency and public accountability by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 26.12.2020 with in a time frame as fixed by this Honourable Court.

This petition is filed to restore the writ petition in W.P(MD) No.4131 of 2021 on the file of this Court which was dismissed for default by this Court on 01.03.2024.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and
the learned counsel Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed
in support of the Petition and on being satisfied with the same, this Petition is allowed and the Writ Petition is restored to file.
