This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the order dated 02.04.2025 made in Criminal Appeal No.87 of 2021 on the file of the learned

aside the order passed in D.V.C.No.15 of 2019 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rajapalayam.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that during the pendency of the present Civil Revision Petition, the parties have amicably settled the matter among themselves on the following terms and conditions:

i) The respondent has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) to the petitioner as full and final settlement of all the claims; and further agreed to return the gold jewels and household articles belonging to the petitioner;

ii) The petitioner has agreed to return the thirumangalyam to the respondent.

In view of the above settlement arrived at between the parties, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of in terms of the said compromise. The respondent is directed to return the gold jewels and household articles to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pay the sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only) to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks thereafter and the petitioner shall in turn return the Thirumangalyam to the respondent. No costs.
