Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader takes notice for

the respondents. By consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission itself.

2.The prayer of the petitioner is of two limbs. The first limb is to direct the respondents to regulate the Jallikattu event by framing the conditions that the caste of the owners of the bulls should not be uttered during the event of the Jallikattu by complying the order passed by this

Court in W.P.No.65 of 2019, dated 21.02.2019 and the second limb is to mandate all the organizers and participants of such event to take an untouchability prevention pledge so as to avoid caste discrimination among general public based on the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2023 made to the respondents.

3.The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, fairly submitted that with regard to the first limb of the prayer, the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.65 of 2019, dated 21.02.2019 has been duly complied with by the authority concerned.

4.Recording the aforesaid statement, no further order is required for the first limb of the prayer.

5.Insofar as the second limb is concerned, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 22.12.2023, but the same is still pending consideration. Therefore, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.12.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
