PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to follow the procedures adopted by the villagers for the past 57 years by releasing the Palakarai Temple Bull as first bull in Samathuva Eruthukattu Vizha scheduled on 19.06.2024 in pursuance to the temple festival of Sri Malaimel Sathaar Udaiyar Ayyanar Temple, situated at Pokkanarenthal Village, Thiruppulani Union, Ramanathapuram District, on the basis of the representations dated 10.06.2024 and 13.06.2024, within the time stipulated in accordance with law.
