The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing

S.F.No.435/2A Kamarajar Street, Kancheepuram Town Municipality, Kancheepuram District to an extent of 9169 sq.ft. as scheduled in the Settlement Deed dated 28.03.2019 in Document No.1854/2019 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Kancheepuram considering the representation of the petitioner dated 18.09.2020, 30.09.2021, 25.11.2022 received by the respondent on 05.12.2022.

In respect of property at S.F.No.435/2A situated at Kamarajar Street, Kancheepuram Town Municipality, Kancheepuram District, the petitioner claimed that, it is a property inherited from his mother and has been enjoying the same, therefore in order to get patta in the name of the petitioner, the petitioner had given representation on 30.09.2021 and also on 25.11.2022. Therefore in order to consider those representations and to pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law by the 2 nd respondent Tahsildar, the petitioner seeking direction from this 2/5

3. Heard Mrs.V.Bagyalakshmi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would submit that, the said representation submitted by the petitioner would be considered and decided on merits by the 2 nd respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders:

There shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 30.09.2021 and 25.11.2022 and pass necessary orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
