On representation of the counsel for both sides this case is taken up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr . A.V.Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner is present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:

are present before the Court.

2.The Revision arises against the order passed under Section 138 of the

Negotiable Instruments Act. The petitioner and the respondent have settled the matter and have entered into an agreement on 06.03.2023, where under, the petitioner has agreed to pay the respondent a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only).

3.The original of the settlement arrived between the parties is placed in

the bundle.

4.As per the agreement, the petitioner paid the said amount to the

respondents.

5.The third respondent confirms that he has also received the sum of

Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only).

6.The conviction and sentence imposed by the Judgement dated

¶24

29.11.2019 in Crl.A.No.27 of 2016 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Judge, Ariyalur confirming the conviction and sentence imposed on 14.11.2016 in STC.No.287 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Ariyalur is set aside by virtue of the settlement arrived between the parties.

7.Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Petition is allowed.
