This criminal original petition has been filed for a direction to the first

respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1 of 2013.

¶21

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a closure report as “Further Action Dropped” is going to be filed before the Sub-Court, Krishnagiri and that the RCS notice has already been served on the petitioner in RCS.No.2 of 2018.

In the light of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this criminal original petition. The respondent-police is directed to file the closure report before the concerned jurisdictional Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

In the meantime, it is left open to the petitioner to file a protest petition before the concerned Court and the same shall be dealt with on its own merits and in accordance with law. Before the closure report is filed before the concerned Court, the respondent-police is directed to once again serve the RCS notice to the petitioner.
