By order dated 03.01.2023, the affidavit of service filed by the plaintiff was taken into account and the plaintiff was permitted to file an application for substituted service on the 4^th defendant. The present application is filed pursuant thereto.

1. In the affidavit in support, it is stated that the notice issued to the 4^th defendant was returned with the endorsement “addressee left”. The applicant further states that no other address is available with the applicant. In the above facts and circumstances, this application is liable to be allowed.

1. Accordingly, the applicant/plaintiff is permitted to effect substituted service on the 4^th defendant by publication in one issue of the English daily "THE NEW INDIAN EXPRESS" and one issue of the Tamil daily "DHINA THANTHI" specifying the next hearing date as 28.02.2023. In addition, notice shall also be affixed on the Court Notice Board and the last known address. This application is allowed on the said terms.
