This matter was listed for hearing on 25.01.2022, when, in the absence of the petitioner, it was directed to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'. There is no representation by or on behalf of the petitioner today as well.

2.That apart, Mr.Deepak Arasu, learned counsel appearing for Mr.Arumugam, learned counsel on record for R4, ie., Shri Ramakrishna Chithamparesvar Higher Secondary School would submit that the prayer of the petitioner for appointment as Headmaster does not survive, insofar as he has retired from service of the School on 31.05.2019.

3.Thus, on both grounds, the present writ petition is liable to be dismissed and I do so. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
