Mr.Stalin Abhimanyu, learned Government counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission itself.

2.The present writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2021.

3.According to the petitioner, he was awarded the fishing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ tender for three years i.e. from 01.07.2018 to 30.06.2021 and paid the requisite amount for the same from time to time. Due to the lockdown imposed by the State Government to curb the

spread of Covid-19 Pandemic, he was unable to do his fishing chores. In the meantime, the period of tender got expired on 30.06.2021. As the petitioner could not carry out the fishing activity during the pandemic period, which caused heavy loss, he made a representation to the first respondent on 19.07.2021, a copy of which was marked to other respondents, requesting to extend the period of contract by another one year, subject to payment of necessary charges. However, no order was passed by either of the respondents. Therefore, this writ petition.

4.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

5.Considering the limited relief sought herein, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
