2.When the matter is taken up today for consideration, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petition has been filed seeking to call for the records and quash the proceedings in C.C.No.23 of 2005, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruchengode. There was no stay, meanwhile, the trial proceeded and that there were totally 37 accused and the accused were not found guilty and they have been acquitted u/s.258 of Cr.P.C. on 08.11.2017 and nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) this Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
