Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to stay all further proceedings with respect of the judgment and decree dated 14/03/2018 in O.S.No.268/2016 on the file of III Additional District judge, salem, [in CMP.No.14139 of 2018] pending disposal of the above first appeal.No.552 of 2018.

Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.NALLIYAPPAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.S.KARHIK RAJA, Advocate for the sole Respondent, the court made the following order:-

An order of interim stay was granted by this Court on 20.08.2018 condition that a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- be deposited. It is seen that the said order has been complied with. Therefore, the order of interim stay already granted by this Court on 20.08.2018, is made absolute.

2.The learned counsel for the appellant would make an offer to the other side that he is willing to pay the entire advance amount with interest at 7.5% p.a. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent is directed to get instructions in this regard. Post the matter for reporting settlement on 23.11.2021.
