This appeal is preferred by the appellant insurance company as against the award dated 09.08.2004 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Tribunal, Sub Court, Krishnagiri made in MCOP.No.1130 of 2003.

The learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the appellant insurance company agreed to satisfy the award passed by the Tribunal. In view of the same, the award of the Tribunal at Rs.1,70,000/-(Rupees One Lakh Seventy Thousand only) with interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of filing of claim petition, is hereby confirmed.

3.Hence, the appellant insurance company is directed to deposit the

entire award amount with interest and costs, after deducting the amount if any already deposited, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this award. On such deposit being made, the Tribunal is directed to transfer the same to the respondents/claimants, on proper identification through RTGS in accordance with the terms of the award, without insisting on any formal permission petition.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
