The petitioners have filed this writ petition to call for the records pertaining to Clause 4 of Subject No.30 in the resolution No.861 passed in the meeting held on 31.03.2010, which was communicated by the first respondent vide his proceedings dated 07.04.2010 and quash the same.
2.According to the petitioners, they obtained a Civil Court decree in their favour with regard to the subject matter of the properties in S.Nos.483 and 484 of Sholinganallur Village. Despite the same, the then Panchayat President passed a resolution to construct a building for performing the last rites of the deceased in that properties, as if the same belongs to their Panchayat. Hence, this writ petition.
3.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the resolution so passed in the year 2010 is no more in existence and the respondents are not inclined to proceed further, based on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ same.
4.Recording the same, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
