2.The prayer sought for in the writ petition is innocuous in nature, as the petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioner dated 26.09.2016 and 19.01.2017 and to pass orders thereon.

4.In view of the said prayer made by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits or the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to give a direction to the 3^rd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 26.09.2016 and 19.01.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders thereon, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
