Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to clarify whether the status quo granted on 06.06.2016 in WP(MD) No.9897 of 2016 would be confined to any particular date and further direct the 1st respondent to maintain status quo till such time the writ petition is heard and disposed off and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fir and proper.
ORDER : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Ms.P.MALINI Advocate for M/S.T.S.GOPALAN & CO, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:-
This Court by order dated 06.06.2016 passed the following Order:-
“Notice of motion returnable by four weeks. In the meanwhile there shall be an order of status quo. Post on 06.07.2016.”
2.Though there is some confusion with regard to nature of order that was passed on 06.07.2016,whether it was restricted till https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 06.07.2016 or until further orders, it is brought to the notice of this Court that status quo practically maintained till date. It is
only because the second respondent has given representation to the first respondent informing that the status quo was only upto 06.07.2016 the petitioner has filed the present petition to clarify whether the status quo granted on 06.06.2016 is until further orders or till 06.07.2016.
“Status quo granted on 06.07.2016 and maintained till date shall continue until further orders.”
