Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 12.04.2014 seeking admissible compassionate allowance as per Pension Regulation of Chennai Port Trust Pension Regulations 1987, forthwith and the accrued arrears thereto from the date on which the petitioners penalty came to be confirmed i.e., with effect from 3.7.2012 and to extend other benefits thereto.
The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty to challenge the termination order and to that effect he has also made an endorsement.
2.Recording the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. No costs.
