Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents the madras high Court was a combined court complex, the toilets and sanitation were under serious threat and still we had a common toilet. But the toilets in Small Cause Court Family Court and City Civil Court are locked and used by the respective staffs of the said courts alone. Now there is a boundary wall for the Madras High Court and the other courts
functioning in the high court campus are separated and left alone. Hence it is humbly informed that the toilets and water purifiers in the Madras High Court Campus cannot be utilized by the Advocates clerks general public and police officers. At the same time it is hereby requested that the existing health hazards in the toilets shall be cleared immediately and to construct new toilets for advocates and general public and to provide sufficient drinking water purifiers in small cause court, family court and sessions court for enabling public usage and utility.
