The writ petition has been filed praying this Court for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to perform the dance programme 'Aadal Padal' at Arulmighu Vaigai Sri Mariamman Kovil, Vaigai Dam, Periakulam Taluk, Theni District from 06.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. on 01.05.2014.

2.By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

conduct "Aadal Padal" from 06.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. on 01.05.2014. In this regard they made representation on 08.04.2014 to the respondents for permission, but till now no orders have been passed on the representation. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

5.Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that on an earlier occasion, this Court by accepting the submission of the learned Government Advocate, imposed 23 conditions to conduct drama and if the same conditions are imposed the second respondent will consider the application of the petitioner. The condition imposed by this Court on an earlier writ petition is as follows:

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the second respondent to grant permission to conduct "Adal Padal" dance programme on 01.05.2014 by using box speakers with low decibel sound and by imposing the above said conditions. Further, this Court directs the second respondent police to pass necessary orders on 26.04.2014, incorporating the conditions as enumerated above.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
