PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent's order in Na.Ka.No.C/3661/14 dated 24.07.2014 and consequently direct the first respondent to issue patta to the petitioner for his residence situated in Town Survey NO.133, Corporation Ward No.19, Re-Survey No.102/6C and 7A part to an extent of one cent at Ponmeni Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai within the stipulated period.

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent's order in Na.Ka.No.C/3661/14 dated 24.07.2014 and consequently direct the first respondent to issue patta to the petitioner for his residence situated in Town Survey NO.133, Corporation Ward No.19, Re-Survey No.102/6C and 7A part to an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ extent of one cent at Ponmeni Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai within the stipulated period.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner challenges the order dated 24.07.2014 by which the petitioner's request for grant of patta has been rejected.

It is submitted by the leaned Additional Government Pleader that after the writ petition has been filed, an order has been passed on 30.07.2014 by the second respondent Corporation to the following effect:

In the light of the above, the petitioner is directed to comply with the direction issued by the second respondent Corporation and submit their requisite application which shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
