for the revision petitioner has contended that after framing of necessary issues on 28.07.2010, the suit was listed for trial on 25.10.2010 and thereafter, brought for so many hearings in the month of July and August, 2011 and subsequently the plaintiff was examined as P.W.1 on 04.08.2011 and during the course of his cross-examination Exs.A1 to A9 were marked and then the suit stood posted for cross-examination of P.W.1 on 08.08.2011. According to the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner, several interlocutory applications were filed to drag on the trial proceedings. Despite, P.W.1 was present on all hearings to be cross-examined, no interest was taken on behalf of the respondents/defendants to cross-examine him. It also appears from the proceedings, which has been appended to the typed-set of papers, that the defendants 1 and 13 have also filed their additional written statement and an interlocutory application is pending. Under the said circumstances, the revision petitioner being the plaintiff has come forward with this petition, invoking the provisions of Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif, Thanjavur as afore stated.
