PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C.

ORDER : The Court Made the following order :-

The petitioner/A3 apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged commission of offences punishable under sections 147, 294(b), 353, 323 and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.50 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2 .The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with others went to the office of the Tahsildar for getting Voter I.D. Card and there was a wordy quarrel between the petitioner and the staff of the Tahsildar and the accused are said to have attacked the staff and made criminal intimidation.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner is absent on account of Advocates' boycott.

4.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that it is a case of case in counter in crime No.51 of 2014 and nobody is sustained injury.

5.This Court, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Trichy and on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 11.00 a.m. for a period of one week and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.

6. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. sd/-
