COMMON PRAYER: Petitioners in these writ petitions are all retired Village Administrative Officers. They retired from service on various dates. Now, they have come-up with these writ petitions seeking a direction to the respondents to pay minimum pension payable to them, in the category of the Village Administrative Officers, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.756, Revenue Department, dated 17.08.1993, within a time frame.

2.I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that already proposal has been submitted to the 1^st respondent for sanctioning minimum pension, as per G.O.Ms.No.756, Revenue Department, dated 17.08.1993 and the said proposal submitted by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ the 3^rd respondent is now pending consideration by the 1^st respondent. The learned Additional Government Pleader would further submit that the 1^st

respondent will duly consider the said proposal and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks.

4.Having regard to the above submissions, I am inclined to issue a direction to the 1^st respondent to pass final orders on the proposal of the 3^rd respondent, in respect of minimum pension to be paid to the petitioners, as per G.O.Ms.No.756, Revenue Department, dated 17.08.1993, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Connected M.P.(MD) no.1 of 2013 in all the W.Ps. are closed. Sd/-
