ORDER
The petitioner was formerly working as an Accounts Officer under the respondent. He retired from service on 31.05.2013. But, so far, his retirement benefits have not been settled. Therefore, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking appropriate relief.
2.I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
3.Today, when this matter was taken-up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the respondent would settle all the terminal benefits of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today. The said statement is recorded.
4.In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to pay all the terminal benefits to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today. No costs.
