PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C.

ORDER : The Court Made the following order :-

The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 506(i) I.P.C and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Cr.No.2 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the defacto complainant. He further submits that A-2 and A-3 were already granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P. (md).No.11317 of 2013, dated 11.07.2013.

3.Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that A-2 and A-3 were already granted anticipatory bail by this Court, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be enlarged on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.I, Sattur, subject to the following conditions:-

(i) the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/(Rupees Ten thousand only) each with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the arresting officer or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned; and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(iii) The petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily

at 10.00 a.m for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required.
