The petitioner owes money to the respondent. The learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, submits that Rs.7,85,877/- is the amount due as on today. The petitioner sought for permission to pay off the amount in eight equal monthly instalments.

In view of the limited prayer, this writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to pay off the amount of Rs.7,85,877/(Rupees Seven Lakh Eighty Five Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Seven Only) along with future interst in eight equal monthly instalments, the first instalment will be paid on or before 19.06.2024 and the subsequent instalments will be paid on or before the 19^th day of every succeeding months. The respondent will be entitled to continue with the recovery proceedings, if the petitioner fails to remit two consecutive instalments. The coercive proceedings initiated against the petitioner shall be kept in abeyance, if the payments are made as directed.
