The petitioner is before this Court seeking to direct the respondents to issue building number to the extended construction in Survey Nos.97/1-5, 97/1-3 and 97/2-2 forthwith, after receiving requisite fee for the same.

The application of the petitioner for Building Permit was not processed by the respondents as supporting documents were not received. By Ext.P6, the Secretary to the Grama Panchayat required the petitioner to provide requisite documents.

When this writ petition came up for hearing today, the Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has submitted relevant documents and the application can be considered and a decision can be taken within a reasonable time.

In view of the statement as made above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2^nd respondent-Secretary to the Panchayat to process the Building Permit application submitted by the petitioner and take appropriate action, within a period of three

weeks.
