JUDGMENT
Aggrieved by the auction notice issued by the Panchayat to sell meat in
the Panchayat area and for establishing Meat Stalls in public junctions without complying with the provisions of Sec. 229 to 231 of the Kerala Panchayath Raj Act and the Kerala Panchayath Raj (Slaughter Houses and Meat Stalls) Rules, 1996, the petitioner has approached this Court with this writ petition.
The auction was held on 07.03.2017, and the establishment of the meat stalls was for a period from 01.04.2017 to 31.03.2018. The said period has long expired. The prayer sought has become infructuous.
This writ petition is closed.
