JUDGMENT
This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking the
following reliefs:-
“i. issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction commanding the respondents to issue licence to the crusher unit of the petitioner namely M/s. Aroor Granites, Aroor, Olavattoor, Malappuram, for the fixed period of 5 years;
ii. issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing Ext.P6 order of the 1st respondent, to the extent limiting the licence of the Panchayath valid up to 31.03.2017;
iii. issue any appropriate writ, order or direction declaring that the respondents are bound to allow Ext.P5 application, to renew the licence of the Panchayat to the crusher unit of the petitioner for a period of five years from 2016-17 to 2021-22 and hence directing the respondents to issue licence to the crusher unit of the petitioner for the said fixed period of 5 years.
representing learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri. Babu Joseph Karuvathazha submits that the writ petition has become infructuous.
Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
