JUDGMENT

Against Ext.P7 order of the 1^st respondent rejecting Ext.P1 application for Arms Licence, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the Land Revenue Commissioner, the 2^nd respondent. The Land Revenue Commissioner, by Ext.P8 order, remanded the matter to the 1^st respondent. Pursuant thereto the 1^st respondent heard the petitioner on 19.7.2023.

When this writ petition came up for further consideration today, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought a direction to the 1^st respondent to finalise the proceedings pursuant to Ext.P1, expeditiously.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.

Since it is submitted that after the filing of the writ petition, the 1^st respondent has heard the petitioner on Ext.P1 application pursuant to the remand order passed by the Land Revenue Commissioner, there will be a direction to the 1^st respondent to finalise the proceedings pursuant to Ext.P1 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
