JUDGMENT
This writ petition is filed seeking issuance of directions to respondents 1 and 2 to renew the passport of the petitioner in terms of Ext. P2 application.
The learned DSGI, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is a self-employed person who is presently residing in Bangalore, and the application for renewal has also been submitted before the Regional Passport Officer, Bangalore. It is submitted that this Court would not have territorial jurisdiction to entertain this writ petition.
In response, it is submitted by the learned counsel that the writ petition be dismissed as withdrawn, reserving the right of the petitioner to move the appropriate forum.
In view of the submissions advanced, this writ petition is closed, leaving
open the right of the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum.
