The petitioners have filed this contempt case alleging willful disobedience of the directions contained in Annexure A1 judgment of this Court dated 29.06.2022 in W.A.No.754 of 2022, whereby the Secretary of Ezhamkulam Grama Panchayat, the 1st respondent herein, was directed to consider Exts.P2, P7 and P10 representations made by the petitioners against the unauthorised constructions made by Nedumon Service Co-operative Bank Ltd., in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and also to the said Bank.

required to demolish the unauthorised constructions, within a period of five days. The learned Standing Counsel would point out that there occurred some delay in taking a decision, in terms of the directions contained in Annexure A1 judgment, since the then Secretary-in-charge, who conducted the personal hearing, could not pass orders, since by that time the additional 2nd respondent took charge as the Secretary of the Grama Panchayat.
