JUDGMENT

The above writ petition is filed seeking issuance of directions to the 4th respondent to grant appointment to the petitioner to the post of HSST (Jr.) (Economics) with effect from 15.07.2021 and for incidental reliefs.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has preferred Ext.P2 representation before the 3rd respondent contending that he is the only qualified teacher to be appointed to the post of HSST Jr(Economics) through the by-transfer appointment and requests that directions be issued to the said respondent to consider the same in an expeditious manner.

I have heard the learned Government Pleader.

In view of the limited nature of the relief sought, no prejudice

would be caused if notice to the respondents 4 to 7 is dispensed with.

After having carefully evaluated the contentions raised in this writ

¶33

petition, the submissions made across the Bar, and the facts and circumstances, I am of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of at the admission stage itself by issuing the following directions:

a) There will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to take up, consider

and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P2, after affording an

¶36

opportunity of being heard, either physically or virtually, to the petitioner herein or his authorized representative and the respondents 4 to 7.

b) Orders, as directed above, shall be passed expeditiously, in any event, within two months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment.

c) It would be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of the writ

petition along with the judgment before the concerned respondent for further action.

This writ petition is disposed of.
