The petitioner, who is stated to be the Secretary of a society by name “Thathwamasee Ayyappa Seva Samithi” registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus commanding respondents 1 to 3 to consider Ext.P1 representation and take a decision for granting permission to Thathwamasee Ayyappa Seva Samithi to provide shelter and other facilities for Sabarimala pilgrims in the premises of Subramaniya Swami Temple, Harippad.
